Kombai

History

The Combai is a very ancient breed of dog, used in hunting as early as the 9th century B.C. when the Marava Kings held sway over South India. The army of the Marudhu brothers defended their fort at Kalayarkoil with the Kombai against the East India Company. Appearance

Temperament

As a guard dog with savage temper is like the Bull terrier in temperament, the Combai is superior to the Rajapalayam.These dogs were used for hunting and keeping watch.

Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness with which the fault should be regarded should be in exact proportion to its degree.

Note Male animals should have two apperently normal testicles fully descended into the scrotum.
