Tea cup Chihuahua

Teacup chihuahua
The reason you can't
find any information is that the term 'teacup' chihuahua is not an
actual sub-breed. Poodles do come in Standard, Miniature and
Toy, but chihuahuas are not separate. There are differences
in composition (body arrangement) and size, but they are all within the
parameters of one single breed of chihuahua. Terms like 'teacup',
'deer', 'applehead' and etc.
describe the appearance of a dog, but are mostly used by breeders to
make a dog sound rare or 'special' so that they can justify charging
more money for them.

There are a few threads here with some people being very adamant that
There Are So different 'sub-breeds' and that swear that different
compositions relate to different temperaments. Other people
such as myself agree that not all chihuahuas look the same, but that
every chihuahua has its own personality regardless of what they look
like.

The smaller dogs tend to have more medical problems such as slipping
kneecaps, in the past year I have spent over $1000 on vet bills for
hernia repair, pulling of retained baby teeth, etc. for Gremlin. I
don't regret a penny of it, I knew when I adopted her that she might
need more care

The best resource I can recommend is the book Chihuahuas for Dummies. It's
very thorough, talks about the different appearances of chihuahuas and
is by far the best book I have on the care and maintenance of these
adorable furry little creatures

Just
so that everyone knows,
there is no such thing as a teacup chihuahua. "teacup"
chihuahuas are just bred from the runts of the litters of an already
tiny dog. chihuahuas are unhealthy enough already because of inbreeding
and poor breeding practises designed to make them look the way they do.
Buying a teacup chihuahua is encouraging an industry that is cruel to
animals. If you want a dog that small, get a hamster.

Tea
cup
chihuahua is a very lovable and energetic pet. Also, he's very
uninhibited and determined for his size. He loves to play with his
squeaky bone and everyone's socks. He also enjoys stealing pig ears from
his cousin Bear. He spends most of his day with his Grandpa watching
westerns and sleeping. He has so much love and energy...he is the
world's greatest Tea cup huahua!

Faults
Any departure from the foregoing points should
be considered a fault and the seriousnes with which the fault should be
regarded should be exact proportion to its degree.
Note *
Male animals should have two apparently normal
testicles fully decended into the scrotum.
